2009 Catholic Charities annual appeal

We just launched Catholic Charities’ 2009 Annual Appeal. The campaign is supported by a 30 second TV spot, billboards, print ads and banner ads. Here is a little description of this year’s concept/theme.
The theme of the Catholic Charities 2009 Annual Appeal campaign was Ourmaha: Where everyone makes a difference. With the use of a vibrant color palette and positive, inclusive messaging, the campaign positioned Catholic Charities as a leader in our community who provides a wide range of social services.
A direct mail piece, print ads, television and radio spots, and outdoor boards featured a map of Ourmaha, reinforcing the message that when it comes to giving to those in need, we’re all in this together. Regardless of address, we all play an equal part in making Omaha a great community. The campaign promoted individual responsibility in helping to address issues in our community.
The 30-second TV spot was created by Mike Markoff of Visual Utility.
The direct mail piece took the form of a city map with all of the divisions within Omaha, i.e. North Omaha, Millard, Elkhorn, etc. changed to OurMaha. The inside of the map features client stories.

Billboards were placed strategically around the city depending on the message.

Here is a full page print ad, it ran in local papers.
