Financial Avenue – logo and identity design
Financial Avenue is an online learning environment that empowers students and their families for a lifetime of success. Financial Avenue emphasizes the role of financial literacy education and default prevention services in achieving that goal.
This project started with designing a new logo and brand elements. Dan Greve, an interactive designer at Bozell, designed the new website and I followed up with several brochures.
Financial Avenue’s potential clients include students, both high school and college, and businesses who want to help their employees with some financial education. We needed to create a look that appeals to both audiences. We achieved this by keeping the visuals simple, using icons and simple illustrations mixed with bold headlines and callouts. The color palette mixed some reserved creams with bold blues and deep greens, giving the materials a cool, modern feel.
Here is one of the inserts that was included in the back of the brochure, allowing Financial Avenue to customize their presentation to potential clients.
